I are wanting a lot of midi keyboards that accompany a lot more than 6 pads. My decision that is last was buy this Alesis V49. At the beginning, I was quite worried because the product appeared like it offers issues that are several. The two primary conditions that I saw in others’ review are: 1. Squeaky noise produced from the keys; 2. Double triggering regarding the drum pads.
until now, despite the fact that I were using this product for about 8 weeks, but I actually encountered the next issue regarding the 7th therefore the 8th pads for me, Problem 1 didn’t take place for me. It just occurs whenever I do not press them highly sufficient, nevertheless, it it truly irritating within the point it makes the sensitivity function useless.

Apart through the well-known issues, this midi keyboard is good inside this price range. The tips are hefty and full-sized(maybe not smooth at all, but keep in mind that this keyboard with 8 pads is 98 euros, which is relatively inexpensive). My objectives because of this keyboard weren’t high to begin with but it been able to I would ike to down regardless. The velocity sensitiveness is worthless. It could be modified become useable regarding the lower sensitiveness amounts but even then it apparently randomly jumps above treshold to try out velocity that is max.

The keys are squeaky and in a loud method. It is possible to imagine just how annoying it can get. The knobs and slider work flawlessly. The pads seem really quality that is high. If I could, I would just have the pad part and take away the keys.

So my main use because of this keyboard is practising hand jobs for various chord structures. For this the keyboard is ok. Also utilizing the knobs to input automation and they’ve been working fine.

This keyboard appears good. I’ll offer it that much. It is black colored, it’s shiny blue lights that are LED. The countour on the tips is pleasant to eye. This keyboard is design that is good your room studio. And when you play loud enough your guests will scarcely hear the squeaking associated with secrets.

Oh yeah since my goal was to discover finger positions, I just entirely disabled the velocity sensitivity which is what you need to expect you’ll do if you get this board.

I've had nothing but problems with Firefox 39.0 (using on my MacBook Pro OS X 10.6.8). In order to quit, I have to force quit. It freezes up continually. I'm about to uninstall it and start using a different browser. I'd give it a 0 stars if I could.

This version is smooth and fast performing, literally taking many of it's looks and ideas directly from Google Chrome.
Along with smooth performance comes better memory management.
Citrix receiver for el capitan mac. Firefox is probably the most configurable browser as well.

Doesn't work on Tiger (MacOS X 10.4.x for the non-cognoscenti..), hence the low rating. It's a shame really: Mozilla is following in Google's footsteps when it comes to Apple OSes, and forgets that not all Mac users can or want to switch to Snow Leopard. Might as well spit in our eye.. Take Opera as the (perfect) counter-example, they who have recently launched a new version of their browser that's really multi-platform. Shame on you, Gorgonzilla! (pardon the cheesy pun..)

In my opinion Firefox doesn't even compare to Camino: www.caminobrowser.org . Even better in my eyes is webkit: www.webkit.org . Webkit is the fastest browser I have found for Mac & is updated several times per week.
Back to Firefox, I have tried Firefox 2 & 3beta. My experience was not good. The layout of browser menus & such drove me crazy. The browser was slower than Camino to open & slower to load webpages. This is on my 1gz imac with 1gig ram.

The flexibility is the key here and anti-phishing support is important, as well. The developers have been cleaning up the Gecko renderer and crashing is all but a distant memory. Using version 2.x with Leopard instantly improves text display, which seems odd, since Mozilla didn't change anything in Leopard. Has Apple been holding back all this time to make third parties look bad?
Version 3.0 is still about two months out and truly improves all facets of the browser.

It's quite a bit better than earlier beta releases. The new theme was a bit shocking with its all silver/graphite look, but it will please the Safari crowd in that it doesn't look anything like something on Windows. (They'll still complain anyway.)
Performance is good but still has a way to go before it's ready for everyone. Startup and shutdown of the browser is slow. Once launched, it's quite speedy--faster than the current Safari but not the Safari beta.
Apparently, memory leaks have been addressed strongly and that's helped a lot to aid stability. It really doesn't feel like a beta but add-ons still don't work.

Gran Paradiso is a huge improvement over the previous version of Firefox. The Cocoa interface makes Firefox comparable to the speeds of Camino, and switching through tabs is way faster than on Windows or Linux versions. Considering all the improvements Firefox's going to have, this version is going to be the most anticipated release ever.

Use the following methods in the order in which they are presented. If you try one of these methods and it does not help, go to the next method.

Method 1: Start Excel in safe mode

Safe mode lets you safely use Excel without encountering certain startup programs. You can open Excel in safe mode by pressing and holding Ctrl while you start the program or by using the '/safe' option (that is, excel.exe /safe) when you start the program from the command line. When you run Excel in safe mode, it bypasses functionality and settings such as alternative startup location, changed toolbars, the xlstart folder, and Excel add-ins. (However, COM add-ins are excluded.)

If your issue is not resolved after you start Excel in safe mode, go to method 2.

Method 2: Investigate possible issues with COM add-ins Many developers create add-ins for Excel. These add-ins are divided into two types

• Excel add-ins that are saved as .xla, .xlam, or .xll files.
• COM add-ins. These add-ins usually have to be installed and include DLLs and registry keys. COM add-ins created for one version of Excel frequently are incompatible with a newer version, and may cause the system to stop responding. They are not disabled by safe mode.

The simplest way to resolve this possible cause is to run this troubleshooter.

If the troubleshooter resolves the issue, but it recurs, you'll have to determine which add-in is causing the problem. To disable COM add-ins, follow these steps:

1. Select File > Options > Add-ins.
2. At the bottom of the dialog box, change the Manage dropdown to COM add-ins, and select Go.
3. Clear the check box for any enabled COM add-ins. select OK.If disabling the COM add-ins alleviates the issue, try enabling them one at a time to test for the problem add-in.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, continue to method 3.

Method 3: Investigate Excel file details and contents

Excel files can exist on the computer for a long time. They are upgraded from version to version and frequently travel from one user to another user. Frequently, a user inherits an Excel file but doesn't know what is included in the file. The following areas can cause performance or crashing issues:

• Formulas referencing entire columns.
• Array formulas referencing an uneven number of elements in the arguments.
• Hundreds, or perhaps thousands, of hidden or size 0 height and width objects.
• Too many styles caused by frequent copying and pasting between workbooks.
• Too many (as well as invalidly defined) names.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, continue to method 4.

Method 4: Check whether your file is being generated by a third party

Sometimes Excel files are generated by a third-party application. In this case, the files may be generated incorrectly, and some features may not work correctly when you open the files in Excel. If this occurs, test the features in new files outside the third-party application. If the features work correctly, make sure that the third party is aware of the issue.

If your issue is not resolved after you test it outside the third-party application, go to method 5.

Method 5: Perform a selective startup to determine whether a program, process, or service conflicts with Excel

When you start Windows as usual, several applications and services start automatically and then run in the background. These applications and services can interfere with other software on your device. Performing a selective startup (also known as a 'clean boot') can help you identify problems with conflicting applications. To perform a selective startup, see How to perform a clean boot in Windows.

Selective startup is used to help identify the process, service, or application that conflicts with Excel.

If your issue is not resolved after a clean boot, go to method 6.

Method 6: Check whether your antivirus software is up to date or is conflicting with Excel

Antivirus software can interfere with Excel, and cause performance issues. Frequently updating your AV software can correct the issue.

To keep up with new viruses that are created, antivirus software vendors periodically provide updates that you can download from the Internet. How to check whether antivirus software is conflicting with Excel

If your antivirus software includes integration with Excel, you may experience performance issues. In this case, you can disable all Excel integration within the antivirus software by creating exceptions for Excel files.

Important

Changing your antivirus settings may make your PC vulnerable to viral, fraudulent, or malicious attacks. We do not recommend that you try to change your antivirus settings. Use this workaround at your own risk. You may have to contact your antivirus software vendor to determine how to configure software to exclude any integration with Excel.

Where the file is stored

Several issues can arise when you save an Excel file over a network or to a web server.Moving the file locally will help determine whether there's something wrong with the file or the server where the file is saved. Save the file to your local hard drive is one of the following scenarios is true:

• You have redirected 'My Documents' folder to a server location.

• Your files are stored offline.

Printers and video drivers

When Excel is started, it examines the default printer and video drivers that will display the Excel workbooks. Excel is printer-intensive. Therefore, it will run even slower when Excel files are saved in Page Break Preview view. Testing the file by using different printers such as the Microsoft XPS Document Writer printer driver or the VGA video driver will determine whether the problem is with a specific printer or video driver.
